Jaron Blossomgame shines bright in Spurs Summer League
Sports2Nite anchor Brooke Shoemaker breaks down the “Hot Or Not” of the current sports landscape:
Hot: Jaron Blossomgame
The San Antonio Spurs have seen numerous standout individual performances throughout the NBA Summer League. Lonnie Walker has garnered the most attention, but it’s a second year player who has quietly taken a larger role on the team.
Jaron Blossomgame previously played with the Spurs G-League affiliate in Austin without an NBA contract. Blossomgame continues to prove his worth as a steady addition to the roster, delivering an impressive performance on Sunday against the Wizards, earning 22 points and nine rebounds.
Not: Kansas City Royals
The Kansas City Royals are now tied for the worst record in baseball. Kansas City sacrificed a three run lead in today’s game and how now dropped 11 of their last 12 games, falling to a putrid record of 26-66 on the season; the Royals are currently 25 games behind the Cleveland Indians for first place in the AL Central.
