Paws, Pucks, and Pure Happiness
With today being national puppy day and all, the San Antonio Rampage partnered with Spurs Sports and Entertainment for their 11th annual Pucks and Paws Day at the AT&T Center. The event encouraged fans to bring their furry friends to the game, while also allowing local animal shelters and therapy programs to set up informational booths throughout the concourse.
“The Rampage and Spurs Sports Entertainment have been a great partner through the years,” Steve of Texas Husky Rescue said. “Not just allowing us to bring out dogs to the game in a companion capacity, but allowing us to show the entire community all of the wonderful groups.”
Fans filed in for what was one of the most crowed Rampage games of the season. In fact, in the crowd stood 10,000 fans and their friendly fur babies.
“We are so excited for the game,” said Pucks and Paws participant Ashley with her dog Prince. “He only has three legs, but I think he is more excited than I am because he gets to see all these new dogs!”
