BIG 10 REVERSES COURSE, WILL PLAY FOOTBALL
After deciding last month to postpone football game-play this season, the Big 10 says its season will start next month. Teams will play eight games each – which will be less than the ten or eleven games schools in other major conferences will play – starting October 23rd and 24th.
The new plan comes with stringent medical protocols, which includes daily COVID testing and enhanced cardiac screening. The conference plans to announce updates on other fall and spring sports shortly.
Above is brief footage of a couple of Big 10 football teams (Ohio State and Iowa) practicing.
