GAME DAY: SPORTS2NITE VISITS WITH DERRICK WHITE AHEAD OF BATTLE VS. ROCKETS
San Antonio will be without Lonnie Walker (stomach illness) and LaMarcus Aldridge (left ankle soreness) tonight.
Houston will be without big man Christian Wood, who’s putting together an All-Star caliber season, because of a right ankle sprain. Wood proved a big reason the Rockets gave the Spurs fits in both games of a back to back in mid January, including a 109-105 Houston win in their first outing after the James Harden trade.
Derrick White did not play in either of those contests. Tonight’s game in Houston marks his fourth game back since returning from a broken toe in his foot that caused him to miss virtually the entire month of January.
