After playing at Missouri State University, Jake Spavital started his career of coaching at Tulsa in 2008 and has been a member of the coaching staff for the Houston Cougars, Oklahoma State Cowboys, West Virginia Mountaineers, Texas Tech, and the California Golden Bears. Currently, Spavital is the head coach of the Texas State Bobcats in the Sun Belt Conference. However, Spavital’s love for coaching started with his family long ago.
