S2N PREVIEW: SPURS SHOOT FOR THIRD WIN IN BUBBLE
Over the last couple of years, the Philadelphia 76ers have been regarded as one of the NBA’s most talented young teams. But at 39-27, they’re sixth in the East and lost their first “bubble” game in Saturday’s 127-121 loss to Indiana.
The Spurs, on the other end, have won three in a row dating back to the last game before the suspension. A 29-36 record has the Silver and Black within a loss of Memphis, whom San Antonio beat yesterday, for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.
As Hector Ledesma reports, the Spurs, who’ll be without Bryn Forbes and Marco Belinelli tonight because of injury, say they’re ready of their only back-to-back in this restart.
