Spurs Blow Out Wizards Behind Murray’s Triple-Double
The Washington Wizards came to AT&T Center Sunday night not having played in almost two weeks and the Spurs took advantage.
San Antonio’s dominant fourth-quarter performance led to a 121-101 blowout victory for the Spurs.
Spurs veteran guard Patty Mills finished with a team-high 21 points, while point guard Dejounte Murray recorded his second triple-double of the season, finishing with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Murray said he was unaware of his triple-double until his team told him during the game.
“They told me when we had a timeout, but at the same time, I just play. I know with my style you know if I’m on the floor what I’m capable of doing.”
