POP ON CHALLENGES 2020-2021 WILL BRING
The San Antonio Spurs get back to work this week and report to training camp for the 2020-2021 season. However, it goes without saying that the upcoming season will look a lot different than in years past.
The 2020-21 NBA season will include the return of the play-in tournament and a 72-game schedule that will begin on December 22.
Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was asked about the challenges of the upcoming season compared to what the league faced in the bubble, and replied “I think this is a bit more difficult.”
The Spurs will take part in three preseason games against the Thunder on December 12, and Houston twice on December 15 and 17.
