UTSA Outlasts MTSU, Stays Undefeated
Thanks to their 37-35 win over MTSU Friday night, the UTSA Roadrunners are 3-0 for the first time since 2017.
Junior transfer quarterback Josh Adkins came off the bench to help lead the offense in the second half after starting quarterback Frank Harris went down with a knee injury late in the second quarter. Adkins finished the night completing 16 of 28 passes for 233 yards and one touchdown.
With the win, Jeff Traylor became the first head coach in program history to start his career with three wins.
During the post-game presser coach Traylor said he is “optimistic” about Harris’ knee, and that he will be getting an MRI Saturday morning.
