Young Horns Shine on Valero Alamo Bowl Stage in 55-23 Blowout Victory
The No. 20 Texas Longhorns are back-to-back Valero Alamo Bowl Champions.
Thanks to their 55-23 blowout victory over Colorado Tuesday night, the Longhorns have now won their last four straight bowl games.
Down five starters, Texas relied heavily on its younger talent, and in the win proved that the future is bright for the burnt orange.
“Always a good thing to end your season with a win” said coach Herman after the game. “To send these seniors out with a great taste in their mouth, and start your offseason with a lot of positivity and a really good sign of things to come that we’re capable of doing.”
